2024 Subaru Impreza Colors Interior, Review, Specs

2024 Subaru Impreza Colors Interior, Review, SpecsThe inside of the 2024 Subaru Impreza is spacious and pleasant, with sufficient functionality for the driver and passengers. However, it is the only car in the competition with an AWD system as standard, which makes driving in challenging road conditions or locations with frequent snowfall much easier. Overall, it’s a good car for the money, and it outperforms the competition in a few areas, such as cabin quality.

The Impreza sedan is equipped with an underwhelming powerplant that is neither powerful nor speedy nor does it generate good gas mileage. Although you have the option of a manual or CVT transmission, the former is cumbersome and should be avoided. Despite its lackluster performance, the Impreza has a well-appointed cabin, excellent handling, and comfortable ride quality. Will this, however, be enough to make it the most sought-after compact sedan in 2024? In this review, we’ll find out.

Redesign of the Subaru Impreza 2024

The Impreza’s external styling isn’t as striking as a hardcore WRX STI’s, but it’s still quite attractive. The Sport adds 18-inch alloy wheels to the original model’s 16-inch steel wheels. There are seven exterior color options, including Sapphire Blue Pearl, new for the 2024 model year. The selection is dominated by halogen headlights, with the LED units with steering-sensitive technology and the defunct Limited grade being phased out. A power tilt and slide moonroof is an optional addition on most derivatives.

The appearance of the 2024 Impreza is unchanged, except for a new Sapphire Blue Pearl exterior color option. Whether there is a modification, the Impreza’s exterior design is attractive and neutral in the sector. The rear fascia is equally devoid of any drama or unusual design, continuing the front fascia’s simple aesthetic philosophy. The base model comes with a 16-inch steel wheel, while the higher trims come with alloy wheels in 16- and 18-inch sizes. The Sport model comes with 18-inch wheels and larger tires.

Interior

The interior of the 2024 Subaru Impreza is unchanged from the previous model. This translates to a functional and well-built interior with plenty of space and ergonomically placed controls. AC vents flank an infotainment screen in the middle, and a 4.2-inch driver’s digital display with analog gauges is on the left. Subaru has taken design cues from the Legacy for the interior, which seems inspired by it. There is a combination of soft-touch and hard-touch materials on the dashboard and throughout the cabin, constituting the majority. However, in this segment and at this price range, we won’t be complaining.

The instrument cluster is easy to see and can be seen even in direct sunlight. The seats are adequately padded and supportive and are covered with decent-quality fabric. Both rows provide enough legroom and headroom, as well as additional storage. Leather-trimmed chairs with a heating function for the front seats are available on higher model levels. Although the Impreza’s cargo space is only 12.3 cubic feet, it can accommodate your daily loads and a few carry-on bags if you’re planning a weekend excursion.

Engine

The slow 2.0-liter naturally aspirated flat-4 engine that powers the 2024 Subaru Impreza produces 152 horsepower and 145 pound-feet torque. AWD is standard on all Imprezas, and the engine is coupled to either a 5-speed manual or a CVT transmission. This engine is underpowered and slow to accelerate. It is the most sluggish car in the segment to drive, and it requires a lot of effort to force good performance out of it. The transmission options are even worse, with the CVT being slow and the manual being clumsy. We like the CVT over the manual transmission simply because of its smoothness.

Although the Impreza isn’t perfect, it excels in ride and handling. When it comes to acceleration, the 2024 Impreza goes from 0 to 60 MPH in under nine seconds and then takes another eight seconds to traverse a quarter-mile, making it the segment’s slowest vehicle. The steering, on the other hand, is quick and precise. It won’t be unsettled by slamming the Impreza around turns at high speeds. Another area where the Impreza excels is the braking performance; as it comes to a complete stop a fraction of the time, it takes comparable sedans in its class.

Price and Release Date of the Subaru Impreza in 2024

The Subaru Impreza starts at $18,790, with the CVT transmission adding $1,300 to the price. Tax, registration, and a $960 destination fee are not included in the base price. The Premium sedan has an MSRP of $22,195, while the Sport has an MSRP of $23,595. The Sport can cost over $35,000 when fully equipped.
