The $26,745 Crosstrek Special Edition has a distinctive Desert Khaki exterior with Crystal Black Silica paint on the grille, door handles, side mirrors, and antenna. In addition, designers offered the model Low Luster Black badging and dark gray 17-inch alloy wheels.
The vehicle’s inside is upholstered in black and crimson with red contrast stitching on the fabric seats, leather-wrapped steering wheel, and shifter. Low Luster Black accents, an 8-inch infotainment system, and a “premium instrument cluster” with a 4.2-inch multi-information display may be found elsewhere. Since this variant is based on the Crosstrek Premium, it features heated front seats and a six-speaker sound system.

The available powertrains remain unchanged. This means a 2.0-liter, 152-horsepower (113-kilowatt) four-cylinder engine in the Base, Premium, and SE grades. Sport and Limited versions have the larger 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine with 182 horsepower (136 kW). A CVT is available on all Crosstrek trim levels. At the same time, a six-speed manual transmission is standard on the Base and Premium models. All vehicles are equipped with all-wheel drive. Includes the Crosstrek Hybrid, which continues to provide the 2.0-liter engine with electric power for a total output of 148 horsepower (110 kW).

Interior and Trim Levels
The Crosstrek Special Edition has the same features as the Premium trim. These standard amenities include heated front seats, a steering wheel wrapped in leather, a driving mode with hill-descent control, adaptive cruise control, and lane-keeping assist. The Special Edition also has the Premium’s optional 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment as standard equipment.
Among the interior features exclusive to the fresh Special Edition is red-and-black upholstery. Red contrast embroidery also appears on several interior surfaces. Even though Subaru did not provide many photographs of the interior, you will be able to see it for yourself when the 2023 Crosstrek arrive in dealerships this summer.
