The new Subaru BRZ sports car is not superior to the previous generation. It was a proudly Japanese product with a few design features that could only come from the land of the rising sun. The new model is a mash-up of various designs. The back of the car looks like a miniature version of the Acura NSX. The front has swept-back headlights, substantial air intakes, and power bulges on the bonnet.

While the configurator has yet to be released by Subaru, it appears that the 2024 BRZ will be available in seven colors. Other than Magnetite Gray, Sapphire Blue, WR Blue, and Ignition Red, other paints will be. Some are likely to be premium paid-for alternatives, but Crystal Black Silica and Crystal White Pearl, and maybe Ice Silver should be the default no-cost colors.

The front seats are firmly bolstered and have red stitching for a sporty flair in the cabin. Although the level of convenience and support is outstanding, the chairs only have manual adjustments. The infotainment screen has been integrated into the dash to keep the dash height low and improve the front view. According to Subaru, the roof pillars have also been kept narrow to improve sight and reduce blind spots. Entry and egress can be a pain, given the lower chair height and wide-opening doors.

The 2024 BRZ comes standard with fabric-trimmed seats, with simulated leather upholstery available on higher trim levels. The 2024 Subaru BRZ features an all-new 7-inch driver’s display with plenty of information in terms of technology. Another update for the 2024 BRZ is that it now comes with an improved infotainment system that uses the same 8-inch touchscreen as the most recent Subarus. The Premium variant has a black fabric interior with red contrast stitching and a leather-wrapped steering wheel, gearshift, and parking brake boot. Ultrasuede upholstery with red leather accents is standard on the Limited. Brin Naub Nubuck-like cloth is used to trim the instrument panel and doors on both Subaru BRZ models.

The 2024 BRZ’s revised powertrain layout has increased acceleration times, allowing it to travel from 0-60 MPH in just over six seconds. With the performance tires now standard on the BRZ, braking performance has also increased, and it stopped from 60 to 100 MPH in just under 106 feet under panic braking.
