However, it is the only car in the competition with an AWD system as standard, which makes driving in challenging road conditions or locations with frequent snowfall much easier. Overall, it’s a good car for the money, and it outperforms the competition in a few areas, such as cabin quality.

Although the Impreza isn’t perfect, it excels in ride and handling. When it comes to acceleration, the 2024 Impreza goes from 0 to 60 MPH in under nine seconds and then takes another eight seconds to traverse a quarter-mile, making it the segment’s slowest vehicle. The steering, on the other hand, is quick and precise. It won’t be unsettled by slamming the Impreza around turns at high speeds. Another area where the Impreza excels is the braking performance; as it comes to a complete stop a fraction of the time, it takes comparable sedans in its class.
