2024 Subaru Legacy Price, Review, Release Date – The 2024 Subaru Legacy features a large, luxury cabin, but its basic engine isn’t as powerful as competitors in the class, and it’s not as fun to drive. The Subaru Legacy is a fantastic midsize car. It boasts a large trunk, a long list of features, excellent crash test results, and plenty of passenger space in an intelligently designed cabin. A solid turbocharged engine is also available to help compensate for the basic engine’s shortcomings. On the other hand, some of the infotainment controls are perplexing.
Customers who like the look of a typical sedan on the road will appreciate the Legacy. It competes with the Accord and Sonata, but it doesn’t have the space and functionality of its boxier brothers. The Legacy offers a large cabin with plenty of safety and driver-assistance technologies and a bevy of connectivity choices to go along with its conventional design.

Redesign of the Subaru Legacy in 2024
The Legacy’s base model will come standard with 17-inch aluminum wheels in 2024, while the Premium and Sport models will have rear-seat air vents on the back of the central console. The Sport now comes standard with a power sunroof, blind-spot monitoring, and rear autonomous emergency braking. You’d be hard-pressed to locate him on a list of automobile aesthetic icons. The Subaru brand’s ideology does not greatly value evocative design. As a result, the Legacy is an entirely hidden but uninteresting vehicle.
A single exhaust opening, steering-responsive LED illumination, and 18-inch black machine-finish alloy wheels are included in the basic model. The Legacy’s higher equipment levels include a power tilt/sliding glass sunroof, LED fog lights, 17-inch alloy spins, and dual stainless steel exhaust outlets. A trunk spoiler and a stylish grille are included with the Sport model, although they don’t add much to the overall design. The Legacy would blend into any parking lot like our tester, even in crimson.

Interior
Despite its more petite ratios, the Legacy’s cabin feels much larger than the previous generation’s, especially in the back. Despite its shabby exterior, the Legacy’s interior is functional, with well-chosen fabrics. It comes with a few touring models but is not limited to touring models. Leather upholstery is an opportunity on the Limited and Touring.
The front seats are well-sculpted and supportive, and higher models provide a manual thigh extension for the driver’s seat, which is a nice feature for long-legged customers. In our tests, the trunk held eight carry-on bags, one more than the Accord and two more than the Camry.

Engine
All Legacy standards come standard with a continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT). Standard equipment is a 2.5-liter horizontally opposed four-cylinder machine with 182 horsepower. . Both engines have been tested, and it’s remarkable how much of a difference a turbo can make. The Touring XT accelerated to 60 mph in 6.1 seconds, whereas the non-turbo Sport took 8.0 seconds. The 2017 Legacy is a little better at handling and has a more comfortable ride, no matter what engine is under the hood.
The EPA estimates that non-turbo cars will earn 27 mpg in the city, 35 mpg on the highway, and 30 mpg combined, but turbocharged models will score 24 mpg in the city, 31 mpg on the road, and 27 mpg combined. In our real-world 200-mile highway fuel-economy tests, both powertrains averaged 34 mpg, one mpg less than the Accord 2.0T. This isn’t true for Subaru and Honda, which aren’t even close to the 2.5-liter Camry SE. It got 45 miles per gallon.
