2024 Subaru WRX Price, Specs, Redesign

2024 Subaru WRX Price, Specs, Redesign – The new 2024 Subaru WRX hopes to resurrect interest in rally-inspired sport compact vehicles in danger of extinction. The 2017 Subaru WRX has a new chassis and a more powerful 271-hp turbocharged flat-four engine that makes the car more fun to drive than its predecessor.

There aren’t many cars on the road today designed only with the thrill of the ride in mind. As a result, the brand did not focus on improving areas in which it performed poorly in the competition. But this is no longer the issue, as Subaru’s 2024 WRX is returning with more aggressive looks and a more competitive design strategy.

The 2024 Subaru WRX isn’t as aggressive as the STI, which we’ll evaluate separately. For example, the large, ungainly rear wing has been removed, resulting in a more modest look. Even so, it is not as drab as the Impreza sedan. If you’re a gearhead who wants to take your family to the next level, this mix is for you. It still has four exhaust pipes on the back and a working hood scoop on the front. The base standard comes with 17-inch wheels, while the mid-and top-spec models have 18-inch alloys. Instead of just having a layer of rubber sprayed on the alloy, the STI’s wheel covers give it a more sporty look and allow for a slightly higher profile tire.

The WRX’s ground clearance will be 0.8 inches lower than the Jetta GLI’s. The new model’s lower curb weight of 300 pounds than the Stinger will also help to reduce forward mass transfer. The following are a few of the home’s most significant external features:

Interior

The 2024 Subaru WRX’s inside features a fresh design but retains the Subaru logo. Contrasting red stitching adorns the blacked-out inside trim. The cabin’s complimenting carbon fiber patterns further add to its allure. In addition, the GT model comes standard with Recaro Performance Front Seats.

Five adults can fit in the WRX sedan. They’ll have plenty of legroom and headroom in there as well. On the lowest two trims, the driver’s seat has a six-way manual adjustment system; on the WRX Limited, the driver’s seat has a ten-way power adjustment system. It’s easy to get in and out, and the view is lovely. There are 43.3 inches of legroom in the front seats and 35.4 inches in the back. When a sunroof isn’t included, the front headroom shrinks to 37.2 inches, and the rear headroom is 37.1 inches.

Engine

Underhood of the Subaru WRX is a turbocharged 2.4-liter flat-four-cylinder engine. Two gearbox options are a basic 6-speed manual transmission or a continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT) (CVT). All-wheel-drive is standard on all WRX models. If you choose the automatic, you’ll have the option of three distinct driving modes, which you can select via the steering-wheel-mounted paddle shifters. Adaptive dampers are also included in GT’s auto-only model. Additionally, summer performance tires can be ordered on 17- or 18-inch wheels.

Adding a CVT transmission to Subaru’s boxer engines doesn’t significantly improve fuel economy. In terms of city/highway/combined mpg, the CVT variant gets 18/24/21 mpg. The EPA estimates for the manual are 20/27/23 mpg. The manual version of the WRX has a gas tank capacity of 15.9 gallons, which translates into a 365-mile range.

2024 Subaru WRX Release Date and Price

The Subaru WRX’s pricing is a good indicator of its value for money. For the most part, there’s not much you can do to increase its value. MSRP: $27,495 for the basic WRX. The Premium costs $30,045, while the WRX Limited costs $32,095 at writing. The CVT transmission adds $1,900 to the price of both the Premium and Limited models if you want it. The $925 shipping and destination fee is not included in these rates.
